“Seven,” a work by Broken Rhythms, choreographed by Dyana Sonik-Henderson, is a dance work about stages of grief. While having the pleasure of photographing it in rehearsal, I took a somewhat abstract approach to capturing the images of this piece to reflect the nefarious, messy, and complex subject matter of grief, loss, and recovery that this work explores.
